Phil Doerr, a successful bar owner, had stated that the best way to go about become successful would be to start with bar tending, from there connections could be made and progress would be made climbing up the social totem pole. Doerr stated that brewing beer is more than just guessing and checking with ingredients, for in reality bacteria plays a big part in the making of beer. He also explained that a business class, although not necessary, would be very beneficial for the distribution portion.
